La piscina con vistas sobre Alájar
In the middle of Spain's stunning Sierra de Aracena, Finca La Fronda is a hidden paradise for Nature Lovers.
Hugged by cork and chestnut trees in the heart of Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park, to the north-east of the province of Huelva, Finca la Fronda boasts views that stretch to distant points of the compass. The village of Alajar and the beautiful Peña de Arias Montano are situated in the valley just below, providing the pool area with magnificent views.
Finca La Fronda was designed to blend into the surrounding, it is built on one level, and all the construction materials used are the traditional ones in the area, natural stone, the traditional brickwork and rustic tiles.
The rooms a built around a traditional U-shaped Andalusian Patio with orange trees and a fishpond. We offer 7 spacious rooms with en-suite bathrooms, pretty sitting areas and private terraces, all elegantly decorated. In the communal areas we have 2 sitting rooms with fireplaces, a generous dining room, 2 large covered terraces and a swimming pool.
Finca La Fronda is catalogued but the Tourism Board as "Superior Bed and Breakfast" all though it functions more like a small hotel.
This is simply a wonderful place! It’s very quiet, with woods around, lovely views, many birds, and great walks to do right from the house. The rooms are light and spacious, with one’s own little patio. There is also a shared sitting room, which is comfortable and with great views. The owners (half English, half Spanish) are exceptionally friendly. Breakfast is excellent and dinner, if one takes it, superb. Unfortunately they only had availability for two nights, we would have loved to stay longer
